Jide Akintunde is the Founder and CEO of Financial Nigeria International Limited, a publishing firm. He is also the Managing Editor of Financial Nigeria magazine, a development and finance journal, which has been published monthly since August 2008.

Jide is the Director, Nigeria Development and Finance Forum (NDFF). He has led NDFF to organise its conferences in London, Washington DC and New York to attract foreign investments into Nigeria.

As a social entrepreneur, Jide is on the Board of Medical Tutors, which operates a web platform that provides continuing medical education to Nigerian doctors. He is also a Council Member of the Sustainability Standards and Certification Initiative of the European Organisation for Sustainable Development (EOSD).

Jide’s opinion is regularly sought by many local and international media organisations on the Nigerian economy. He has written over 200 articles on various themes on Nigeria’s policy and investment climate as well as on global development. He is a regular Guest of the IMF during the Annual Meetings of the IMF/World Bank.

Jide was the official spokesperson for the Kingsley Moghalu Presidential Campaign for the Nigerian 2019 presidential election.
