Mrs. Ahukannah is a partner at Atlas Law Firm, a multi-jurisdictional law practice operating in Washington DC and Nigeria. She has a unique professional background with over 25 years of law practice experience and over a decade of managing business ventures.

Prior to joining Atlas Law Group, Mrs. Ahukannah was the General Counsel of a Virginia-based software development company where she handled complex government contract negotiations, technology ; software licensing, intellectual property and other corporate issues. She has been listed in Who is Who in American Law, and Who is Who in America. She has also served on the board of several companies and organizations, including the American International School of Abuja and a micro-finance Bank in Nigeria.

In 2010, Mrs. Ahukannah started MCAF Associates, a consultancy firm involved in small-business development and project financing, as well as conflict analysis and management. She is also the founder of the Tawona group of companies, which include Tawona Workspaces Ltd and Tawona Foods Ltd, both based in Abuja, Nigeria. Ms. Ahukannah holds several university degrees including a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Temple University, Philadelphia, USA; a Master of Science (B.S.) degree in Alternative Conflict Resolution from George Mason University, Virginia, USA; and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Nigeria (UNN). She is a member of the Nigerian bar and also holds licenses to practice law in the State of New York, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
